The Girl

Having seen merely 21 summers, Clionagh has much to learn about the star and all those who live in it. Her noble upbringing has taught her courtly etiquette and instilled in her a strong sense of duty, while her own interests in military history and strategy have led her to joining the Knights of Ishgard as soon as she turned old enough, much to her Father's chagrin. Her service did not last long, however, as at the end of the Dragonsong War, she left, seeking greater glory and a more substantial income elsewhere.

The Family

House Pryderi is a House of no great repute, having earned their noble title 4 generations ago for valorous deeds and heroic actions demonstrated by Clionagh's Great-Great-Great Grandfather. It was he who pioneered the House Pryderi ancestral style of swordsmanship, utilizing twin swords. Nowadays, House Pryderi is much the same, Lord Nuadha Pryderi along with his wife Lady Brigid Pryderi instilling in their 6 children strong morals and an even stronger familial bond. Clionagh herself is the thirdborn, having older brothers in Lugh and Setanta, a younger sister in Saorise, and twin kid brothers in Tarlach and Balor.

The Business

Having little hope of inheritance for herself, and with grim marriage prospects, Clionagh has been forced to find her own way in life. Her skills with her blades and a burgeoning interest in thaumaturgy lead her to pursue a more martial career and though she has attempted work of a more... underground nature, she has decided such is not the life for her. That, combined with a personal request from a dear friend and the growing threat of sky-piracy in Coerthas as a response to the Final Days, means Clionagh has petitioned the High Court of Ishgard into granting her the charter to form her very own Free Company, politically tied to the Temple Knights as the other Eorzean Free Companies are tied to their respective Grand Companies. Thus was born La Compagnie de la Seraphim Radiant, with the self-styled Lady-Captain Pryderi serving at the helm.
